Jim Morrison is delicious

so is Janis Jopplin. Those were sashimi/sushi rolls at club 17. The Rinse were great. Their usual groopies showed up. Free CDs were given out again. Some other mediocre bands came on afterwards. NSG had some wild stuff going on, the bassist was tossing stuff at some people in the audience that they knew. Then he was humping some guy's head. The lead guitarist was on the floor and stumbling around and fell between the instruments and the couches. Those guys looked like they weren't even old enough to be in the place. And their last words made everything very clear, "thank you whisky." Apparently 'tiger beer' means whisky in that place, because that is what they had for free. And no go go dancers. 2 bands kinda trash talked the venue. I wouldn't go there again, except for the rolls.

Don't you hate it when you know something should be somewhere but it seems to have disapeared off the face of the world? I bought this 4M memory card from Lik-sang.com and I know I put it with my other Dreamcast stuff, but its not there, its not anywhere! I find it very bothersome! Its really on my mind.

Tonight was nice, Erika and I stayed in, she played games on my laptop and I played Forza Motor Sport, and then we watched Family Business on video on demand, and Ronit called wanting to finally go out, on the night we decided to stay in because we are running low on cash. So she invited us to hang out at her place after she got home from work. So we stopped watching my Family Guy DVDs and went back to my room, to wait for her IM. In the mean time I played some Toy Commander with Erika, and man thats a great concept and a decent game for the Dreamcast, and its from 1999! So its one of the launch titles. Love my little white box. She was sucking at it so I quit it. It was both our first times at this game, so no one had any clear advantage, she's just a quitter at most games. We also played some DC Squares earlier.

So we went to Ronit's, Erika made White Russians, Ronit made her Special Dip, which didn't have any not-so-legal substances. We just hung out and talked. Ronit was recruiting Erika to have a 3some with her and anotther guy. My only mental reaction was "HEY, your skipping the line, first me and Erika should fuck you, then you and Erika can fuck another guy" its like someone is cutting me off in the line, and thats just not kosher. I'm not the jealous type, I know where our hearts are, and we should just enjoy our youth while we still can. High light of the night was Ronit and Erika talking about how the other one was beautiful, too bad we had to cut it short, they were feeling really tired.

Since we didn't go out with Stephen tonight, he was supposed to drink 2 White Russians in my honor, but they didn't have any milk, irronicly I did drink 2 White Russians. Funny how Anat was on the phone with us, it was almost like she was really hanging out with us. Stephen was working it tonight, gave his number to a girl, and almost had some girls leave the club with them, I am very proud of him. I am sure Big Joe is too.

Erika's folks are going to Roahd Island (whatever its spelled like). I plan on sleeping over while they are away. If Ronit were to come over...then it could be a real party...

Erika really wants to BBQ this weekend. But not ontop of a German girls grave.

a little midweek partying

the email they sent me:

"a little reminder about tonight. go go dancers, open bar (9-10pm), sushi, rinsing(9pm), mid week sillyness, all put on by those good people at myspace.com. tonight, $5, 9pm @ bar17, 37 west 17th street. yum...."

Me and Stephen caught these guys at the Pussy Cat Lounge last week, they were fun, gave us free CDs (you can probably DL these tracks for free from their site). They actually had invitations inside the CD sleaves.

They were fun, sounded like they could really cross over to pop if they got the break. The main guy of the band is English, and if you read up their bio on their site, you will see he is not new to the music thing. Aren't English people sexy, when they are entertainers and not in England? He moves his feet alot, reminded me of the singer from The Music. Tonight should be fun, as long as it gets dry. A decent band and free beer and Go Go Dancers, the night should start off well at least. Now I'm off to get some lunch (read 'part with money').

Oh goodness!! Don't LOOK!!

Yes, thats me, and yes, thats Spike on the wall enjoying a smoke and the view of me. I am covering up my jigglies. This was when 'Victor' walked in on me changing. Not a flattering picture, but entertaining. There were also alot of faces looking at me while Erika and I were staying in David's room; Spike, Jim Morrison, the Rolling Stones, some chick, and 2 birds.

Halfway Point

This is at the on-ramp from the 17B to the 17 on exit 104. This is the exit where my dacha (read 'summer house') is located. I finally trecked in the other direction of the sign. I pulled off the 17 on the way back from Bing to get a picture of this.

Up ontill that point, I was averaging about 85MPH on the High Way, after this exit it was less, its like civilization caught up to me, so I had to slow down.

Jen looks worried

Because she shhould be. Little asian in the woods of upstate NY, very dangerous. Joe's face doesn't look very reasuring.

Wow, look how rich the green is in this picture, its just so green! I love green, and this green was probably captured better than it really was, I don't remember the grass and foliage being so beautiful.

Binghamton "Waterfalls"

With out something in the picture that could be a reference to scale, this could be a waterfall. But its not, its a small cascade, fed by a tiny stream. Its very...cute. I did enjoy the hike to it. Haven't done that in a very long time. Can't wait to do some hiking this summer.

More modern art at BU

No one can resist the stairs to nowhere!

I got a real big one between my legs! Ho HO! Climb Jenny, CLIMB! Binghamton University has alot of modern art sculptures around campus, and we felt like being a part of the art.
Everybody loves balls

Even though we can't fit them into our mouths.

Make a wish!

They are going to have to pull harder for this to work! Every university campus should have a giant wish bone on it!

Jen and Erika at Binghamton University, that isn't actually in Binghamton by the way.

Forest Hills Boulevard

Forest Hills alumni posing with our sign. How is it we don't have this street in our neighborhood?

(R->L) Brooklyn David (aka Victor), Jen (aka Chinky Spears), Erika (aka Shnugabug), me (aka Jungle Dick)
We all graduated from Forest Hills High School in 2001. This is a street sign in Binghamton by the way, that is why its significant. We passed it at least 6 times before we finally took a picture.

How Ironic

This was taken on our last day there

Back Downstate

me - Is that knocking?
everyone else - Knocking? no...
distant voice - YES!
(apparently there was a front door to David's house)

I am so glad I lived at home when I was in college. Anat's, Ronit's, David's houses, they are so bad! Just nuts, they aren't even like real houses, they are wrecks. But hey, partying in them was alright, living in it, unacceptible. But hey, nothing against you guys, just your temporary homes. Yes, yes, I understand its a tough spot your in and its probably the best you could get considering your situations, but still, its super ghetto. So yeah, I have returned from our Binghamton trip.

It was a fast drive back, just 4 hours. 'Any souveniers' you ask, Billy? Well sure! I found a 1st party PS1 memory card, and it wasn't even in Binghamton, it was in Vestal (souvenier, HA! HA!). I did blow alot of money on food and gass. We ate at Burger King, where Erika got a crown (as usual) and Joe was scouting for the Star Wars toys. The rest of the time we ate at The Spot (a diner in Bing), they had good shrimp scampi and pancakes and greek omlets.

Bing answered some questions for me. Now I know why in games like Grand Theft Auto the cities are believable cities, because non-major cities are that small! Also, the reason why its even referenced to on the highway signes, because it has buildings of 6 floors and higher! Like 4 of them! The thing that did bother me was that Binghamton University wasn't in Bing! Its out side the city limits. It does seem like a nice campus though. Funny how some of the high rise buildings on campus look a lot like Kylie Hall on my campus. When I was leaving his campus, I was going to cut through the lawn right after the security passed, and as I start to drive on the lawn, the security car turns around, so I bulted off the lawn into another direction. I did get to hop a curb and drive on the lawn a little.

All in all it was a fun trip. While we were there we watched alot of English DVDs, Coupling, Faulty Towers and Life of Brian. We also watched Dawn of the Dead, it wasn't good, but it was fun. We also listened to some records, thats right, vinyle, some Rolling Stones, some Lynard Skynard, and...ah yes, ROLLING STONES! There was some naughty fun...but I won't go into that right now. It was just great to just hang out with with friends and joke around and not worry about anything. The only thing that sucked was going to sleep and leaving.

I'll try to post the pictures from the trip during the week. My laptop is all funky right now, so I might not be able to load it soon.
