an especially stressful week

so I am spending my nights hunched over on my living room floor going through (literally) thousands of receipts (can't go into the details why). My back is soar, my eyes are tired, and the floor is full of paper. I rather be here at work than go home.

On a lighter note, at midnight tonight I will be going to see the new Star Wars movie with Stephen. Normally I would never go to see it in a theater, but Stephen already has the tickets. I was in front of Midway Movie Theater today, around 5pm, and saw 2 guys with toy light-sabers, one had a storm-trooper helmet on.

Man, I am feeling hungry!

I was actually planning on posting much more today, but right now I am not feeling like typing so much. Maybe in a little while I will write more stuff down. I am really looking forward to going away this weekend. This Friday is my mother's birthday. I am hoping to catch The Motel Creeps after dinner with the family. I think they are performing at the Pussycat Lounge, says they come on at 11:30, so I guess that means we should show up by midnight! I hope my belt buckle arives before the concert. Motel Creeps have a very Jim Morrison sound in their music, so I want to wear my Doors belt buckle, Stephen will be wearing the white belt that he was inspired to buy since the last time we saw the Motel Creeps the lead singer was wearing one.

I don't know what to buy my mom. She got her Masters degree this year too, maybe I should tie that into that as well? I keep meaning to call my brother and find out what he plans on getting her.

good news for this weekend

Jen and Joe will be going with us to Brooklyn David's place in Binghampton!

Now let me talk a little about this past weekend. It was mighty fine, let me tell you! On Saturday we did a practice run to Robert Moses Park/Beach, so now I know how to get to the nude beach this summer. Driving over the 'cause ways' was a real blast, because its so sureal to be driving over such a long span and litterally to a sand bar. Crossing them and the Verazano (the one crossing the Hudson when taking the Throughway) going upstate is very different, on that one you are clearly going to mainland, this, its like taking a bridge into the ocean. I was also doing over 80MPH when Erika stuck her hand out the window. After that we drove to Roosevelt Field, Erika got some clothes, I got me a money clip finally. I ate 'the king' baked potato, it was delicious. That night we caught Moi? at the Luna Lounge, it was great, they have a new bouncer, 'cowboy dude' isn't there anymore. He litterally opened the door for me, so no one got carded that night at the Luna, so we got in and it was cool. We walked out on the Mugs, and I called Stephen to let him know (he likes them). We couldn't get anywhere else because 'Vary' is only 20, so we went back to 'Victor's' appartment and hung out. He has the biggest beer cans I have ever seen. We watched History of the World Part I deverginized those who have not seen it before. The next day...ah yes, now I remember, Erika shopped in the malls on Queens Blvd. and I found a bunch of Dreamcast goodies but forced myself not to blow anymore money. At least for a while. They had awesome hats that I wanted, but they are like $120 each. I especially liked the 'assie hat' but I would definately get a black leather hat to go with my leather coats. Erika disagrees. That night we hit the Comedy Cellar, caught some funny acts, some not so funny. After the show 'Victor' comes up to Jim Norton and goes "man you used to be funny on O and A." In bold for emphasis on what we focused the rest of the night. Then wee stubled slightly entoxicatedly towared Gray's Papaya and got hot dogs and drinks. Then we hit the Fantasy Party shop and check out the ligerie, banana hamoks and dildos. That Jack Rabit is some monstor of a pleasure device! Bless those Japanes! Didn't buy any banana hamoks this time, maybe next time. That Israeli sales lady wanted to sell us another utopia thing, must of told me 3 times that night how much she lovese it. She sold us 1 last summer! Then we went to the Brooklyn Prominad, hung out there for a while, took some pictures. Then I drove them home.

Today sucked. Spent my home time sorting receipts. At least I got to use my new razor, checks haven't been so smooth in years.

Ronit's house!

What do you think? House from the Munsters or opening of Scooby Doo?

Or just you average crack house. If you notice there is a sign on the left side of the porch, yeah, thats an Attorney's office on the first floor. I can just imagine potential clients coming to this office and just turning around and going somewhere else after seeing the house.

Moi? at the Luna! 5/14/05

Royce Petterson of Moi? in our laps

Me, Erika, Brooklyn David, "Vary" and of course Royce in our laps. Hope this makes the next album cover! Too bad Stephen wasn't here, he actually remembered us. Erika looks so happy because she has a rock and roll star on her lap, and thats much hotter than some Dirty F***ing Mother. She said it was mad heavy, must have been his testicular fortitude! He told us it was heavy!

Dear Rocye! The wedding was a blast, and the honeymoon was unforgetable. Hope it all stays hot till June! I just got home, and its 5AM, so I will post more about my day during the SunDAY. WOO!! SAVE ROCK AND ROLL!!
