Harlem didn't shake, for those 'in the know' Harlem Shakes is a band. Stipan introduced me to them a couple of days ago, and then we realized they were performing Sunday night, and that was perfect! Except that this Murcury Lounge place sellls tickets, and the show was sold out. And it was $12 bucks, which is 'F'ing BS! A Sunday night show at that. And the bouncer was a dick. I'm sure everyone is familiar with the velvet roap, well they didn't have one, they didn't even have 2 poles to put it on, they just had the single pole, and the bouncer was serious about us being on the right side of it! Then we had to form a line, just me, Stipan, and eventually 2 other people showed up. And we actually had to wait! Refrickendiculous! We ended up going back to Stipan's place and taking in some great classic 90s gaming; played
Samurai Showdown 3 on the Sega Saturn (the only way to play it unless you have the arcade or the Neo Geo). It was like a fantacy come true for me, and to top it off, Stipan actually liked the game, can't wait to get to play it some more. Then we played some
Last Bronx and some
Virtual Tenis (on the Dreamcast) and
Worms Armagedon, which kinda put us to sleep, literally in Stipan's case.
I stayed up late so I could talk to Erika. Just another week and a half and she is back! I am very excited about that. I'm not the only one though, and that is another story that I won't tell here.
Turns out BT Ana was upstate last week, and I missed the opportunity to hang out with her. That was shame. Maybe I'll get another chance later, I hope so at least. I'm going to wrap it up for now.
