5:20AM Sunday
My Saturday night just finished. On the way back from Mirage on the Grand Central, all the sudden I look to the right and I say "funny, I don't remember there being a road there that goes the other way." Turns out that was the right lane of our side of the road. There was a giant accident toward the Queens Blvd. exit, so bad there was a line of cars going the wrong way to the exit. By the time we turned around it was 2 rows going backwards. I had to cut people off by going through the lawn, thank you Sinan for your coaxing. When we were going past on the service road people were getting out of their cars and there were fire trucks on the LI bound side of the HW. Must have been real bad, never seen anything like that before. After I dropped Stephen off (my last passenger) my gass tank was red-lining, managed to fill up on credit for $5. That was the only money I spent that night. Sinan paid my cover, and I didn't drink anything. Because of Erika I spent all my cash last night.
See, I feel really bad for spending $15 on booz last night, I don't even like the stuff. But you see, Erika wants to drink, and she will order some crap and not finish it, so I had to orderr drinks because if she is going to not finish something, it should be at least something I will somewhat enjoy finishing. If she wasn't out I probably wouldn't have bought anything, well maybe 1 Paps Blue Ribon. And I would have been able tot pay my way into the club tonight.
I picked up Sinan and drove out to the club, and got lost (thank your mapquest) just to find out it was right next to Syms, so I would have gotten us there very quicky if I just new that. Once we get there, I get rejected because of my shoes (Stephen was wearing similar shoes but all black and had no problem). So I am glad getting my friends laid pays off, because Dave gave me his shoes through the fence of the out doors section and I walked in wearing his shoes with out a problem. I say it so mater-of-factly but it was really like a Mission Impossible thing; Dave and Stephen were our inside men, Joe was working it outside, while Dave switched shoes with me at the fence. Apparently they have otherwise relaxed policy because they let a pregnant woman and lots of ugly people. I believe only 1 girl danced with any of us, a chick just forced her way in between Dave, Devang and Stephen as they were raving, and then Sinan woke up and started dancing too! Then she got out real quick. There were some good looking women there, and some weren't even paid to be there. Like that bartender on stage left, oh my god, now we know why its called mirage, she just couldn't be real!
Speaking of things that just can't be real, Stephen's Car-ma! It just can't be! His Jetta had problems again, so he got the Avalanch again, so we will see if its real if that breaks down again too! We stayed out late last night and Stephen called me 3 times this morning, I was understandibly pissed for being woken, but eventually I found out he was calling because he needed a ride because the car was busted. Had I known earlier, I wouldn't have been so pissed.
I can relax now also, because Erika flew away. I will miss her, but I am glad she left. Things were getting too edgy lately. Too demanding and other things, and I am glad she is in Israel. She can be with her grandmother that she loves so much and just be happy, and relaxed, she is just so wond up its rediculous, she almost broke my digital camara because she can't control her emotions.
Was tonight worth Sinan's $10? eh, probably not.
