The NEW Dawn

I just got home from the first day on the new job. And tonight Erika returns. This is why it is the NEW dawn. The first day went nice and smoothly. The car started, always a plus, and I showed up to work on time. The office crew was friendly and fun. I know I can do what was shown to me. I also hope to not end up doing what they showed me. As in, I hope that this is the crash course in the aspects of this half of the company, and that before the year is over, I will be taking on different responsibilities. I look at the 2 women who are doing this now, and I don't see the moving into any new areas from there, but I'm not saying they don't do a good job, I am saying thats not what I want to be doing down the line because if did, it would be a dead end and Erika's and my mom's nightmares will be fulfilled.

I am very excited about Erika's return. I called her house during the day and left a messege for her parents to call me to tell me when they plan on picking her up from the airport. Its almost 6, they should be home...maybe I should call after I eat.
