Birthday Proper
That was Monday. Erika, Anat and Stephen congradulated me again. Even Sophia, Mikhail and Amanda came out of the woodwork to congradulate me, that was nice. What a paradigm shift, the latter group used to be the closer friends.
Turns out I guessed correctly what Erika's present was for me, it was a pocket watch. She had engraved on it "with all my love, Erika" on the back. I like it. But the cove seems plain, I am going to see if I can have my 3 innitials engraved onto it in my special design. I also need to figure out how to set the calander feature and how exactly do I clip it on. Another birthday miricle was that Jen and Erika made up. Also, Erika drove on the high way all on her own for the first time. She had a job interview in a hospital, I really hope she gets it.
Dinner at Ronit's didn't happen. Poor planing caused that to fall through. But thats fine, I think I need some down time, did a lot of partying last week. Turns out the Binghampton end of semester party week is only from the 10th to 13th, so we will miss it. But maybe we can still show up, and get some partying on. Maybe I can convince Jen and Joe to detour through Bing. We have to get someone up there besides us, because the college crowd will be gone by the time we can come up. Stephen and my other party guests are invited to come up, he said so. But Stephen will be in Vegas then. On the 14th, Moi? will be performing at the Luna Lounge, thats a must see, they were fun, and this time they will be free. They wont be back in NYC untill June! When we caught them was perfect because it was their release party, and the Wau Wau Sisters had a great stage show for them. Turns out "thanks for the sex" wasn't on their album, a little disapointing, but you know how it is to be a performer, 'always keep'm wanting more.' Stephen and Brooklyn Dave are gonna miss this show.
Lots of bad stuff is (verly likely) gonna happen in 2 weeks. I could really use a big lottery win about now. Big enough so I could quit my job, maybe buy a special lady a ring, and have some security in my life. At least I still have my pants, my own underweare (at least I think it is), my car, and a bathroom sink that is still attached.
